Black Belt Archives

The Black Belt Archives’ mission is to ensure the identification, preservation, and access of the Black Belt region’s historical records and artifacts and to promote its history throughout the region, state, and the nation. The Black Belt Archives is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., afternoons by appointment.
